Ultresetter 460 Imagesetter Highlights
The Ultresetter 460 is a high quality and high performance capstan imagesetter
that can output to film, polyester plates, or both. With its full 18.1 format size, it can work with a range of presses and
allows you to bypass manual stripping for a broader range of jobs. The Ultresetter 460 is the ideal imagesetter for small
to medium size printers and newspapers who require format size flexibility.
The Ultresetter’s 460 ability to output polyester plates provides the
perfect option for short-run process color printing for the commercial printer and for smaller newspapers with a circulation
of 20,000 or less. It cuts turnaround time and boosts production.
The Ultresetter 460 images fast, 22.4 inches a minute, at 1000 dpi, with exceptional
registration. At resolutions as high as 3386 dpi, it gives you quality 175-line screens. This gives you drum quality output,
plus all the benefits of format flexibility and a great price.
The Ultresetter 460 is also very easy to use, due to its operator-friendly
control panel, simplified film path, and cassette configuration. Its sealed optics housing assures trouble-free operation.
With its Stoesser registration punch, it saves time and steps, while delivering punched, plate-ready film and press-ready
plates. Custom punches are also available.
The Ultresetter 460 is the latest in a long line of Ultre imagesetters that
set the price/performance standard by which all others in its class are measured. There are more than 15,000 Ultre imagesetters
installed worldwide and most, if not all, remain in active production today.
