Ultresetter 530 Platesetter Highlights
The Ultresetter 530 M metal platesetter is a high quality, high performance
platesetter specifically designed for the smaller to mid-sized printer with 2-up presses.
The imaging drum is fitted with registration pins and the pre-punched plate
is simply manually loaded onto the pins and the vacuum system is engaged to hold the plate in place. The Ultresetter 530 M
can image different plate sizes without changes to the hardware. It is extremely easy to use and operate with minimum
training.
The internal drum will accommodate plates up to 20.7 inches X 19.9 inches
(530mm x 505mm), and images with either a green HeNe Laser for traditional
red darkroom use, or a violet laser for virtual daylight use under bright yellow safelights. The modular design of the optical
system allows you easily to change alternative imaging technologies in the field as they become available.
The Ultresetter 530 images fast outputting 37 plates per hour at 1270 dpi,
and 24 plates per hour at 2540 dpi. The operator control panel and engineering diagnostic routines are implemented in software
within the Platesetter and can be accessed using a web browser in local or remote locations.
The Ultresetter 530’s low cost of ownership, combined with its high
imaging quality, and imaging speed, makes for a quick return on investment.
