The Ultre ACF-3604P and ACF-3604HP Polysetter is a high quality, high performance,
external drum recorder that outputs to polyester plates and film. With a maximum plate size of 18.1" X 20.7" it can work
with a wide range of presses for the production of all types of high quality 2-up jobs. They both include an on-line polyester
plate processor, and an EagleRIP, a powerful RIP fully compatible with PostScript level 3 and PDF 1.3 specifications that
can process a wide variety of file formats including PS, PDF, EPS, and TIFF. Both units are easy to use and offer excellence
in performance and quality. The HP model is the high speed version of the basic ACF-3604P unit.
The Ultre ACF-3604P and ACF-3604HP Polysetter is an excellent choice for small to
medium sized printers and newspapers looking for a low cost entry into CTP. With resolutions from 1200 to 3600 dpi it is perfect
for all types of short-run applications from newspaper production to high quality, high line screen (up to 250 lpi) commercial
printing including process color.
The Ultre 3604P and 3604HP saves time for faster job throughput, reduces material
usage, reduces labor expense and provides improved quality. The 3604P also enables you to output film for larger presses,
longer print runs, or for special applications. For film applications, a separate on-line film
processor is optionally available for complete on-line film operation eliminating the need for a darkroom.
The Ultre ACF-3604P's extrenal drum design is famed for its superior quality and repeatability while
